1. Investor-State Arbitration
We represent States and other parties in disputes arising under bilateral investment treaties, free trade agreements, investment contracts, and domestic investment laws. Our lawyers have experience in proceedings under the ICSID, UNCITRAL, SCC, ICC, and other arbitration rules.
2. Commercial Arbitration
We advise and represent clients in complex commercial disputes across a range of sectors and jurisdictions.
3. Arbitration-Related Litigation
Arbitration frequently gives rise to proceedings before domestic courts. We advise and represent clients in arbitration-related litigation, including annulment and set-aside proceedings, recognition and enforcement actions, challenges to arbitral awards, and disputes concerning the interaction between arbitration and domestic or regional legal frameworks. Our experience includes proceedings before courts in the United States and matters involving European Union law.
4. Advisory Services
We advise governments, international organizations, and commercial enterprises on a broad range of international law and policy matters. Our work includes treaty negotiations, investment governance, regulatory reform, sanctions, foreign investment screening, and capacity-building programmes.
